After living in my new apartment for more than one year now we have finally settled in and can call it our home. I think everyone who has moves houses for more than two or three times knows how long it takes to make it yours. One of the key essentials to any home is of course a comfy sofa. After I have been hunting down my very own dream sofa I thought it is about time to share my top picks with you.
It might not come as a surprise but I am extremely obsessed with HAY furniture and living accessories. Especially their sofas are a dream to relax on and transform any room into something special. I have also had an eye on Bolia sofas for quiet some time now as they have added some lovely pieces to their 2016 catalogue.
Living with pets on the other side make it an absolute nightmare to shop for furniture that you expect to last for more than three or four years. Only the thought of having to clean dog hair off such an investment gives me shivers. After going over it in my head again and again I started looking for some more affordable sofas that still fit the minimalistic style. I'm pretty sure that I have mentioned this before but for a long time I wasn't a big fan of Ikea furniture. It just got boring and no matter to who's house I came I spotted the same pieces over and over again.
Over the last two years Ikea has changed and surprised with an interesting fresh view on modern furniture. So it came as no surprise that I actually found something in their overflowing sofa section. A minimalistic 3 seater sofa in light grey had caught my eye and has managed to fight it's way to the very top of my sofa shopping list.
Let me know if you are struggling finding the right sofa or what your favourites are. I am sure we all will find our perfect neat looking pinterest worthy chaise longue. Until then have a look at my top picks below:
